Elizabeth Gray

Elizabeth Jane Gray, age 61, passed peacefully on the evening of February 06, 2024 in the company of loved ones, following a long battle with Stage 4 COPD and a long list of other major health issues including a stroke that left her with limited mobility and speech followed by a recent cancer diagnosis.

Elizabeth was born July 20, 1962 in Amityville, NY to Howard Gray and Caroline Gray. Elizabeth went on to share her life with Edward Burgin of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, until the passing of Edward in February of 2019. The couple raised five children and were blessed with sixteen (16) grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Howard Gray (Father), Caroline Gray (Mother), Edward Burgin (Spouse), Amanda Gray(daughter).

Elizabeth is survived by Jessica Gray (daughter) and Joshua Morrison (son in-law) of Chattanooga, Tn, as well as Patricia Curran (daughter) of Pisgah, Alabama, sons Justin Golman, Ryan Burgin, and Michael Burgin. She was also blessed to have had a total of sixteen grandchildren, from oldest to youngest: Amanda Hale, Braden McWhorter, Damon Morrison, Madison Morrison, Joshua Morrison Jr., Sophie Golman, Wyatt Morrison, Erica Morrison, Harley Burgin, Colton Morrison, Francine and Hendricks Burgin, Avery and Conner Curran, and Jean-Christophe Guy.

Per Elizabeth's wishes a small private service will be held for close family and friends. Cremation will follow at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland in Cleveland, Tennessee.
