Elizabeth Gail Dawson

Elizabeth “Gail” Dawson, 64, of Philadelphia, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Gail was born on April 19, 1958, in Athens, Tennessee to the late Carl and Mary King.

Along with her parents Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dawson; and her sisters, Patsy Price, and Barbara Garner.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Michael (Amy) Dawson, and Tonya (Shane) White; her grandchildren, Shelby Dawson, Abbigail White, and Bailey White; brothers, Jim (Geraldine) King, and Ivan King; her nieces and nephews, Rickie (Michelle) Mckheen, Mark (Melissa) Greeno, Renee King, Jeff King, Doug King, and Nathan King.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 7:00 pm at Shelton’s Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Watson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm prior to the service.
