Elizabeth Clay

Elizabeth Ruth Bennett Clay, 63, of Kosse, Texas passed away on September 17, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1961 to the late Lynn and Mamie Nell (Ross) Bennett. She enjoyed fishing, collecting, swimming, dancing and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donnie Bennett, Richard Bennett and a grandson, Slade Bomer.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Neal (Bubba) Clay, Jr.; children, Jennifer Drop, Justin Gass, Amy (spouse Matthew) Roberts, Tray (spouse, Erin) Gass, Ocean Clay; grandchildren, Jesse Brown, Alexis Malone, Aubrey Gass, Kylie Bomer, Kelyn Gass, Teagan Gass, Cuatro Gass, Sierra Odom, Jayda Kay Holiday, Rowdy Weaver; brothers, Rodney Bennett of Thorton, Texas, and John Bennett of Australia.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, Tennessee.
