Elizabeth Ann Wynne Reames Westbrook

January 5, 1938 — May 16, 2020

Elizabeth Ann Wynne Reames Westbrook, 82, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away at home, from pancreatic cancer, on May 16, 2020. Elizabeth was born on January 5, 1938 in her parents’ South Pittsburg, Tennessee home. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jackson Westbrook and two brothers, William Andrew Wynne (Herman) and Raymond J. Wynne. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn A. Ball (Penny), her son-in-law Jeffrey D. Ball, granddaughters Brigetta A. Ball and Noella A. Ball, niece Mary Malisa Gilbreath, and great niece Eletha Peace Gilbreath. In her younger days, Elizabeth was a seamstress in a sewing factory in Misty Harbor, Maryland where she helped to sew coats on an assembly line. She loved to go fishing with her husband and being around her family. The two-week family vacations were always spent visiting her mother, seven sisters and three brothers, and helping out wherever needed. She loved to shop with her daughter Penny. They would shop for hours and never buy anything – just browse. She had a love for music and would never pass up a chance to go to a gospel sing with Penny or listen to Penny play the piano or guitar. No matter how horrible it sounded, she would say, “Play it again. See if it can be better the second time around!”. After Elizabeth gave her heart to the Lord, she would never miss church. She looked forward to hearing the preacher and was often there waiting for the doors to open. Services celebrating Elizabeth’s life will be held on May 24, 2020, at 12:15 PM, at the McDonald Road 7th Day Adventist Church, 5440 McDonald Road, McDonald TN, 37353.
