Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Flatt, 73, a resident of Athens, TN passes away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her residence. Elizabeth was born in Athens, TN on September 3, 1938 a daughter of the late Henegar and Bessie Hicks. After living in California for a time, she returned to the Athens area in 1975. Elizabeth was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Athens Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband Billy Flatt, one daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Timothy Tiegs, one son Jamie Biggs, two grandchildren Heath and Heather Tiegs, several close cousins, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Saturay, August 25, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Athens Lutheran Church located at 710 Forrest Avenue, Athens, TN 37303 with Pastor Jace Detrie and Pastor Jan Munch officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Elizabeth’s memory.
