Eleanor Louise Johnson, 83, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2017. Those that knew Eleanor knew she loved to knit, counted cross-stitch, cook, and listen to Elvis. She worked for Duplan Corporation for 40 years before running a catering truck for 13 years. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Johnson; mother, Louella Spicer; and father, William Spicer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Nancy Johnson, Mark Johnson (Mary), and Tonya Johnson; granddaughter, Brooklyn Hudgins (Nathan) and Stone Hampton (Morgan); great-granddaughter, Aralee Hampton; brothers, Elden Spicer and Lester Spicer (Betty); close family friend, Eddie Hampton, Justin Renner, and Ollie Radford, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 3:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. After the service, Eleanor will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
