Edward Leroy Chasteen

Edward Leroy Chasteen, 77, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 4, 2017. He was born on December 8, 1939 to the late William and Exie Chasteen. Edward has been a resident of Cleveland for the past 36 years. He attended Waterville Baptist Church. Edward loved working with old cars and watching races. Above all things, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Edward leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years Belvie Chasteen; daughters Donna Jackson (Maston) and Sheri Hawkins (Dustin); brothers Ellis Chasteen (Emily) and Melvin Chasteen; sister Loretta Harry; grandchildren: Jonathan Jackson (Jodi), Andrew Jackson (Alejandra), Jennifer Black (Luke), Hannah Hawkins, and Luke Hawkins. In addition to these, he leaves behind six great grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN. A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday following the visitation.
