Edward Frederick Bullard, 76, of Charleston, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown. He proudly served 20 years, 3 months and 2 days in the United States Air Force where he served as a Master Sergeant. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for 26 years at McKee Foods in Collegedale. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He loved to direct choirs and sing. He was a former Ham radio operator as well. He was a gifted handyman and could fix anything. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Hazel Watkins Bullard.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Priscilla; daughter, Lora (Michael) Langford; grandson, Cody Langford; and sister-in-law, Gwenda Paul of Calhoun.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00PM. A private burial will take place in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation, a Veterans’ foundation, or the Gideons International in Ed’s honor as these organizations were close to him.
