Edward Eugene Stevens

Obituary
 Edward E. Stevens (Ralph Chambers), 75, a resident of East Ridge, TN passed away at his residence on Sunday night February, 19, 2012. Edward was born in Harrison, TN on February 15, 1937 a son of the late Gladys Irene Chambers. He graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1954 and spent most of his life in that area until moving to Cleveland, TN in the 1980’s and recently to East Ridge, TN. Edward served his country just after high school by joining the United States Air Force.
In addition to his mother Edward is also preceded in death by her husband Swann R. Chambers.
Edward leaves her to cherish his memory his loving wife of 40 years Patricia D. Stevens, eight children Vickie Borden, Lonnie Stevens, & Rochelle Stevens all of Utah, Mark Stevens (Mary) o f Pueblo, CO, Anthony Stevens (Linda) of Birchwood, TN, Amanda Owens (Brian) of Cleveland, TN, Teresa Thomas (Michael) of Ooltewah, TN and Misty Rogers (Jesse) of Cleveland, TN, one brother Robert Jerry Chambers (Lillian), fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, very special friends Bob & Barbara Massengale, and a host other extended family members.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN with Robert E. L. Walker III, Michael Thomas, Brian Owens, Terry Chambers, Jerry Chambers Jr., and Logan Chambers serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Rogers, Hunter Chambers, and Bud Suttles.
