Edward “Ed” Turner McCord, 71, of Reliance, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family & friends.
He was retired from TVA as a maintenance mechanic; also a former carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Turner and John W. McCord, stepmother Lillian; sister Mary McCord Veal; and his life partner Kathy Hammontree.
Survivors include his daughter Meghan Boles and husband Thomas Boles, of Calhoun; and grandson Alexander S. McCord; and his close-knit circle of friends (you know who you are).
A celebration of his life will be held from 3 to 5:30pm on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Old Woolen Mill, 445 Church St SE, Cleveland.
