Edward Armstrong

August 15, 1963 — May 11, 2024

With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of Edward 'Eddie'. Duke Armstrong of Etowah, TN on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the age of 60 years. Eddie spent the past several years with his work family Ozzie, Ashley, Naomi and Perry. With his best friend Perry Wielzen at his side, they delivered furniture and smiles in Eastern Tennessee.

Eddie enjoyed tinkering on his projects, learning as he went and benefiting family and friends alike. He loved the beauty of Tennessee and spent free time visiting her skyways, waterfalls and aquariums.

Eddie was very dedicated to his family and friends and would have done anything for them. His children and grandchildren were a continuous source of joy to him.

He was predeceased in death by his father, JD Armstrong, grandparents Duke and Irene all of Etowah, Frank and Frances Fritts of Lenoir City, and brother Paul Eugene Armstrong of Etowah.

Eddie will be forever remembered by his mother Nellie Armstrong of Etowah; his loving wife of 39 years Killeen Armstrong (Duckett); his sweet puppy Sophie; son Kody Armstrong (Naomi); daughter Ashley Armstrong (Gary); grandchildren Kamden Armstrong, Thea Armstrong, and Killian Curtis; brother Jim Armstrong (Sandy); sister Kathy Watson (Larry); nephews Larry Watson (Jessica) and Jake Armstrong; nieces Shannon Harris, and Kellie Bradford (Dustin); several other great nephews and nieces, extended family members and many special friends.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being held at a later date with the immediate family attending.
