Edith Kidd Clore Torbett

Edith Kidd Clore Torbett, born Edith Alene Keller September 17, 1947, passed away August 26, 2023, at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Juanita (Crabtree) Keller, Son Keith Sellars, late husband Larry Kidd, and late husband Michael Clore.

She is survived by husband Stanley Torbett, son Kent (Tammy) Sellars, daughter, Karen (Scott) Best. Grandchildren Kimberly Jackson, Kelsey Walker, Dalton Best, Katelyn Price, and Whitney Best. Great- grandchildren Reese, Hadlee, Kamdyn, Mason, Ridge, Micah, and Brooklynn. Edith was blessed to also have several stepchildren and step grandchildren whom she loved and was honored to be a part of their lives.

Edith loved the Lord and her family very much. She worshiped and served as the piano player for many years at the Maryville First Church of God. If you were around her for just a minute you would have known her Godly spirit and the witness, she lived every day. She was a hair stylist in a beauty shop with her mother, a special needs teacher in Blount County Schools, and an avid and competitive golfer, playing as much as 3 times a week. She was loved so much and will be missed by so many.

The family will receive friends August 31, 2023, beginning 5:00-6:30 at Maryville First Church of God 1614 Venice Avenue, Maryville TN. Her Celebration of Life ceremony will begin at 6:30.
