Edith Augustine Swanson

Edith Augustine Swanson, 80, a resident of Benton, TN passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. Augustine had a great love for gardening as well as being an avid reader, she also loved spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Swanson Sr; parents, Manuel Price and Edith Lock Price; children, Jackie Swanson Jr. and Cindy Swanson; grandchildren, Travis Clark and Matthew Swanson; sisters, Robbie Hogston and Sue Webb.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two children, Mark (Shelia) Swanson and Tinia (Allen) Martin; grandchildren, Brandi Swanson, Joseph Swanson, Jesse (Ashlee) Swanson, Jake Swanson, Tiffani (Lucas) Stamper, Kimberly (Cody) Griswold, Jill Martin, and Samuel Swanson; great grandchildren, “Jack Jack”, Joshua, Joseph, and Dakota; siblings, Tom (Mellie) Price, Kay (Bill) Peel, and Don (Sandee) Price; as well as many more nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4-7pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. There will be a celebration of life service Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11AM in the Chapel with the burial following at Mountain View Cemetery in Benton.
