Edie Annie (Hall) Bragan, aged 80, passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2024, at Life Care Center of Cleveland, Tennessee. She was born on May 22nd, 1944, in Lewiston, Maine, to Charles M. Hall and Elsie Pinkham Hall.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Jeris Bragan on April 8th, 1989, and they shared a sweet and special closeness and love until he passed earlier this year. Edie took comfort in believing they will be reunited.
Edie derived great joy from creating. All her life she created things of beauty, including quilts, cross-stitching, other needlework, and scrapbooking.
She also valued the importance and power of creating and nurturing relationships. In addition to being a devoted partner and parent, she had an amazing gift for making people feel special and seen. She shone brightly in the lives of people she had even a brief time with because she saw the best version of them. She seemed to find something to applaud and admire in everyone. She had so many cherished friends, and found new ones at every turn.
In addition to Jeris, Edie was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brothers Ben Hall and Melvin Hall.
She is survived by her sister, Glennis Holland, her brothers Charles E. Hall and Cal Hall, her children, Trinity, Travis, Shannon, Cheyenne, and Tracie, and her grandchildren, Emma, Brooke, Reagan, Garrett, and Jarin.
There are no plans for a service at this time.
She will be deeply missed. The love she gave will continue to pay dividends through those who felt seen, encouraged, and strengthened by her.
