Eddie Dean Thomas

Eddie Dean Thomas, 68 passed away Sunday May 5, 2019 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
Eddie was a life-long resident of Cleveland, TN. and the son of the late Maynard and Elsie Thomas. He retired from Georgia Pacific and was a member of Lakeview Community Church. Eddie loved to spend his time fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Danny Ray Thomas, sister Nancy Helton and grandson Kyle Conner.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years Fran Allison Thomas, daughter, Sonya Conner (Mike), son, Stacy Thomas, daughter, Julie Jones (Jeff), son, Richard Thomas (Moniko), daughter, Misty Gilmer (Kent). Grandchildren; Justin Conner (Sarah), Katey Ritenour (Ken), Ryan Conner, Dylan Thomas (Megan), Matthew Thomas, Alison Green, Chloe Jones, Evans Jones, Drake Thomas, Hannah Scoggins, Mariah Thomas, Noah Gilmer, Seth Gilmer, Luke Gilmer. Great Grandchildren: Alice Clare Thomas and Raelyn Conner. Brother, Maynard Thomas (Linda), sisters, Carolyn Andrews, Barbara Goins, Phyllis Castello and Vicki Baker (Leroy) as well as several nieces and nephews.
The Thomas Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 at the Lakeview Community Church located at 105 Pounds Street SE, Cleveland, TN 37323 with the Reverend Dustin Wilds officiating. A celebration of his life service with be held also at the church on Wednesday, May 8, at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Bethel Springs Church Cemetery in Lamontville, TN.
