Earl Higgins

Earl Higgins, 73, a resident of Charleston, TN passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He served his country in the United States Air Force being stationed in San Antonio, TX. Earl was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and enjoyed driving in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his Father Raymond Higgins, Mother Florence S. Higgins and one brother Orville Weldon.

Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory his companion of 32 years Penny Albertson, niece Mona Weldon of Kokomo, Indiana, Penny’s son and daughter in law Andrew & Melissa Rymer Albertson, sister-in-law Kathryn Albertson, step nieces and nephews James R Everett Jr. and Heather Everett, four legged companions Tex (7), Lady (17) and Cuddles (2), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Evan Rymer officiating and will conclude with Military Honors.
