Dr. John Milton Bryan Sr.

Dr. John Milton Bryan Sr., 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 10, 2017. He was born in Cookeville, TN on December 28, 1930 to the late John Edward and Mabel Sidwell Bryan. John was a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN and a 40+ year member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. A graduate of The University of Tennessee Medical School, he practiced medicine in Cleveland for more than 30 years. John loved his family and friends dearly and was passionate about the game of golf and sport of fishing.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Florence Dale “Dee” Bryan.

He leaves behind one son John M. Bryan Jr., two daughters Mary Kathleen Bryan Herron and her husband Eric and Rebecca Bryan Edge and her husband Jeffery, two grandchildren Lauren Ashley Sexton and Sawyer Bryan, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday November 17, 2017 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church located at 320 Broad Street NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A private family interment will take place in the church memorial garden at a later date.
