Douglass Pierce

Douglass Wayne Pierce age 54 of Athens, passed away on March 27, 2024. He was born on November 1, 1969 to the late Roy Pierce and Mary Elizabeth Baker. Douglas was a friend to everyone and helped anyone he could. He loved gardening, working on cars and lawn mowers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Elizabeth Baker; step father, Robert Baker and a brother, Willard Q. (Bill) Pierce.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Pierce; son, Zack Pierce; loving mother in-law, Barbara West; brothers, Rodney (Christina) Pierce, Timothy (Donna) Pierce, J.R. Pierce; sister, Mary Jane (Jim) Roberts, numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much and a very special friend, Junior Long.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, 400 S. White St., Athens, TN 37303. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the service.
