Douglas Dewayne “Torch” Pike, 61, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away August 21, 2019 in a local hospital. He was an avid fisherman, off-roading enthusiast, and dedicated and loving husband, father, and papaw. He served honorably in the US Army and worked in construction.
He is preceded in death by his father Maynard “Buddy” Fairbanks, uncles Paul, Billy, Wayne, Larry and Gary Helton, Aunts Betty Mikel and Marie Owenby.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Michelle Pike, his son James Pike, and daughter and her spouse Amber Pike-Stanley (Robbie) of the UK and his granddaughter Hayleigh Stafford of the UK, mother Daisy Fairbanks, sisters Donna Martinez, Debbie Waters, and Kathy Johnson and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 12-2 pm at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland.
