Douglas B. "Doug" Works

Douglas B. Works, 57, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Doug was the owner and operator of D&K Auto Repair for over 20 years. He was a well known mechanic in the area. Doug loved his Lord and Savior, he loved his family and dirt track racing. He was of the Baptist faith.
Doug is proceeded in death by his grandparents, JC and Cordelia Rogers, James Russell and Violet Works; mother, Jeanette Works, father, Bill Works; brothers, James Darrell Works and Cletus Floyd; sister Joyce Floyd. Four grandchildren, Kimberly Dora Works, Mason Tanner Works, and two twins “peanut” Works.
Left to cherish his memory, wife of 32 wonderful years, Kimberly Rymer Works, two sons, Heath (Stephanie) Works, Tanner (Leighann) Works. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Rowdy Works, Dylan Clark, Alexis Clark, and Alyvia Clark; step mother, Geraldine Works, sister, Tressia (Roy) Totherow, brother-in-law, Chip (Lisa) Rymer, sister-in-law, Julie Caldwell Works, brother-in-law, Larry Link. He is also survived by eight Nieces, eight Nephews, and Dog Piston “Cup” Works.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rob Works officiating in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW. Cleveland, TN 37311. A graveside service will be held on Friday following the service at Lee Cemetery. Michael White, Jordan Rymer, Randy Chitty, and Jeff Self will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
