Obituary

Dorothy “Pauline” Pell Dyer, 75 a lifelong resident of Cleveland went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, May 25th, 2014 just two days before her 76th birthday. Pauline was a daughter of the late Hershal Paul and Mary Lou Triplett Pell. She was of the Baptist faith. Pauline loved her family dearly and spent her life being a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Willford Leon Dyer whom she lost forty six years ago during the Vietnam War, one grandson William Leon Bryant, two sisters Janice Sue Pell and Shirley Jane Pell and two brothers Gene Pell and Steve Pell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children and their spouses Beverly & Verlin Gourley, Cindy & J. W. Nunley, Sharon & Greg Cashion and Roy & Cindy Ballew, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister Jackie Dowdy and one sister-in-law Ruth Pell. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Amazing Grace Baptist church located at 4778 Spring Place Road with the Reverend Marvin Carr officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday night, May 27th, 2014 at the church from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
