Dorothy Owenby

Dorothy "Dee" Owenby, 67, passed away on February 17, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most. Fiercely strong-willed, outspoken, and extraordinarily intelligent, Dee lived life on her own terms-never afraid to speak her mind, always willing to give to those in need, but never one to tolerate nonsense.

She found her greatest joy soaking up the sun by the pool, enjoying days at the lake, and cherishing time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Rayleigh, who was the light of her life.

Dee is survived by her daughters, Jenna Owenby of Benton and Shanna Bryant of Cleveland; her siblings, Regina Poole, James Allen Owenby, and Michael Owenby; and her precious granddaughter, Rayleigh Kendrick. She is now reunited with her parents, James and Karen Owenby, who preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held on Sundayat 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland, where family and friends will gather to honor a woman who left an unforgettable mark on those who knew and loved her.

Though Dee may be gone from this world, her spirit-bold, unwavering, and full of love-will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
