Obituary

Dorothy (Dottie) Casson, 92, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 in a local nursing home.

Before Dottie’s battle with Alzheimer’s she was an active member of Broad Street United Methodist Church, the Fealty Sunday School Class and Lunch Bunch. She was also active in Gamma Beta Psi Sorority.

Dottie is survived by her son, Flavis Casson, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Georgetown, her only grandson Dr. Lee Casson of Nashville, TN and several nieces and nephews..

There will be a private memorial service at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holston United Methodist Home for Children, PO Box 188, Greeneville,TN 37744 or Broad Street United Methodist Church Foreign Missions or Senior Ministries, PO Box 3, Cleveland, TN 37346-0003
