Doris Mae Ettenhofer Fox

Doris Ettenhofer Fox, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18 2021 at 4:19pm at her home in Georgetown, Tennessee. She was the widow of Bruce W. Fox Sr. of Hampton, South Carolina and daughter of the late Arnold R. Ettenhofer and Edith Mae Ettenhofer (McFarland). She worked in the dental field for 19 years in Warren, Ohio before residing in Hampton, South Carolina for 38 years where she was a member of Open Arms Fellowship. She also worked in real estate for 19 years in Hampton. Upon retiring she helped establish Community Christian Academy in Hampton, South Carolina and became caregiver to her husband of 59 years. In 2019 she came to live under the care of her daughter Linda Smalley. Surviving are her sons: Bruce Fox Jr. of Warren OH, Kelly V. Fox (Kagendo) of Lancaster PA, David R. Fox (Becki) of Warren, OH, Randall L. Fox of San Bernardino, CA. Daughters: Linda Smalley (Marvin) of Georgetown, TN, Sherri Clay, Toledo, OH and daughter in love Barbara Plank, Crawfordville, FL. Sister: Jane Schiller (Don), Summerville, SC. She has 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by one sister, Marjorie Never and two brothers, Robert W. Ettenhofer and Arnold G Ettenhofer. A memorial service will be held at the home of Marvin and Linda Smalley in Georgetown on Tuesday, November 22 at 6pm. Friends and family are welcome.
