Doris Kimsey

Doris Higgins Kimsey, 93, of Dayton, TN passed away peacefully at home May 30, 2025. She was born April 4, 1932 to the late George and Nancy Higgins.

Doris worked as a nurse at Rhea County Nursing Home and Parkridge Hospital. Our sweet mother devoted her life to her family.

She was preceded in death by daughter Debra Kimsey, son T. J. Kimsey and grandson Matthew Revis.

Doris is survived by sister Margie (Richard) Tipton, daughters Sue Owens and Jennifer Garrison, grandchildren Rachelle (Chris) Adams, Larissa Roberts, Ben (Amy) Revis, Clint (Cayci) Garrison, Brett (Megan) Garrison, Lance (Aubree) Garrison and several great-grandchildren.
