Doris Jackson

Doris May Jackson, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Doris was born on May 13, 1936, in Paterson, New Jersey to the late William and Deborah Quakenbush Carman. She was dedicated member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Doris was a history buff; her interest was mainly in British History. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Jackson; brother, William Q. Carman; and her daughter in law, Cheri Lynn Jackson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Stephen William Jackson, and Myles Wayne Jackson; and her grandchildren, Stephen William (Gentry) Jackson II, Tyler (Heather) Reid Jackson, Rachael Blair Jackson, and Daniel Phillip Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Emory Elizabeth Jackson, and Stephen William Jackson III; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2023, at 11:00 am at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor Kevin Gray officiating. A graveside service is to follow at Sunset Memorial gardens.
