Doris J Erwin

Doris J. Erwin, 84, departed this life and entered eternal rest the morning of August 11, 2023 at Bradley Healthcare Center. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. She was employed and retired with Bendix Corporation, now Honeywell.

She is preceded in death by her husband Otis Erwin; her father and mother Leonard and Elise Swafford; her brothers David Swafford, Roy Gene Swafford and Gus Swafford. She is survived by her son Thomas (Patricia) Swafford of Cleveland, TN; sister Elizabeth (Booker T) Woods of Georgetown, TN; her brother Scott (Diane) Swafford of Charleston, TN; her sister-in-law Claire Swafford of Cleveland, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:30 am at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Reverend John D. Bruce officiating. The family will be receiving friends form 10:00 am – 10:30 am prior to the service.

The family of Doris J (Swafford) Erwin would like to say a thank you for the many expressions of love and kindness, for the prayers, the cards and many other acts of love and support that you have expressed.
