Donald Ray Brown was born on June 9th 1950. Born the 5th of 11 children, his childhood was full of activity. His mother, Nellie May Bland, raised Donald and his siblings in a rural farm in Tennessee and later in Chattanooga. His father, Roy Amos Brown, fought in World War II in the 334th engineers division.
Donald married Cynthia Mae Hilke and had two sons, Jason and Donny. At various stages of his life Donald worked with ceramics, metal welding, and road work.
Donald was preceded in death by his father in 1966 and mother in 1994. His siblings Linda, Daniel, and Robert have passed away as well.
Donald is survived by his sons and 3 grand children, Darren, Amelia, and Celeste, along with 7 siblings: Cleve (Bill) Thomas, Ashton Thomas, Samuel Brown, Barbara Berry, Jeff Brown, Debbie Brown, and Bill Bland.
