Donald R. Logan, 86, resident of Cleveland, TN. born, February 4, 1935, in Barbourville, Kentucky to George and Elizabeth Logan, passed from this life into eternity on July 31, 2021, at his home.
He and his wife, Patricia Abraham Logan, began full time ministry in June 1955 as, full time evangelists. He continued in ministry to churches Large and small throughout the Church of God. Reverend Logan served as pastor in churches in Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona, and Tennessee. He was asked to serve the Church of God denomination as State Overseer/ Administrative Bishop in the States of Wisconsin (2 years) and Arizona (14 years). Reverend Logan served the denomination with distinction as a member of various boards and committees, including the Chairman of the Pathway Publications Board.
Many have commented about Bishop Logan’s distinguishing qualities, “As a "Pastor of Pastors" as state Overseer "he was truly a great man who made a difference and helped so many! He knew how to successfully make churches, states, and people better!”
Reverend Logan is survived by his children, Roderick Logan and his wife Melody, Peoria, Arizona: Elizabeth Bailey and her husband, Mark Bailey, Cleveland, TN. Grandchildren Derrick Logan, Jerrod Logan, Tori White, Layne Brubaker, Jordan Bailey, and 7 great grandchildren.
A special Celebration Service of the Life and ministry of Donald Logan will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Westmore Church of God, 2440 Legacy Parkway, Cleveland Tennessee. Visitation beginning at 2:00 pm with a memorial service following at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to:
