Donald Joe Brown

Donald Joe Brown, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 18, 2018. He was a local businessman and owner of Brown’s Country Store until his retirement in 2001. He was an avid Vols fan and vegetable gardener that loved his family dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents; W.L. and Opal Beeler; brother, Paul Beeler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Sue Brown, sister; Sue Ann (Carl) Smith, Melinda (Randall) Morton, sister-in-law; Cindy Beeler, sons; Rusty Brown (Cindy Green), Paul Brown (Sunny Cash), Joel (Adrienne) Brown, nine grandchildren; Tucker (Selena) Brown, Kristin (Kel) Stansell, Cassie (Scott) Hill, Peyton Coe, Kaley Brown and Kennedy, Sydney, Corvin and Aly Brown, five great grandchildren and special friends; Mr. and Mrs. Jr. Wilson, Donnie and Maxie Jones, James Murphy and Clifford Swafford to cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends from Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 5-6 with service to follow in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
