Donald Bedford Thomas

Donald Bedford “Trouble” Thomas, 82, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 at his home. He was a member of the Unity Sunday School Class at North Cleveland Church of God. Donald always enjoyed being outdoors, especially walking and hunting when he was able. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mary Thomas; sister, Carolyn Hart; daughter, LaCinda Thomas; and brother-in-law, Joe Little.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 12 years, Gail Thomas; siblings, Charlotte Little Smith and Gale Thomas (Dennie); children, Shelia Green, Kim German (Chris), and Redonna Thomas; grandchildren, Emily Calhoun (Jeremy), Kristie Pearson (Timothy), Shelby Thomas, and Kalona Legler; great-grandchildren, Averi Pearson, Thea Pearson, and Camden Calhoun; sisters-in-law, Darlene Clonts (Mike), Jaylene Allen, Anita Morgan (Dennis), and Tammy Belliveau (Mark); brothers-in-law, David Allen (Yolanda) and DeWayne Allen (Ginger); several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
The family offers a special thanks to the nurses and CNAs at Hospice of Chattanooga, as well as special friends, Ralph and Virginia Murray.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2016, from 4:00pm-5:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
A graveside service will be held at 5:30 in the Tasso Cemetery following the visitation. Dennis Morgan will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
