Don A. Coulter

October 18, 1932 — October 7, 2020

Don A. Coulter passed away into the care of his Lord Jesus in the early morning of Wednesday Oct. 07 at LifeCare, Cleveland, after a long illness with cancer. His survivors are his son Christopher A. Coulter, PhD, Associate Professor of English at Lee University; his wife of 64 years, Patricia Jayne, with whom he lived a year at Garden Plaza patio homes here in Cleveland before going into LifeCare; and Cynthia Coulter, his daughter who lives in Nashville. He was a Christian since his youth, having attended both Methodist and Presbyterian churches in his many moves with his employer Mobil Oil Corporation over a career of 37 years, not including his summer work during college years as a roustabout with that organization. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, class of 1954, and the most avid OU football fan. He was born in the vicinity of Ardmore, OK, where he will be interred after a private family service at Companion Funeral Home.
