Dolores “Dee" Ann Chambers Cherry, 57, of Cleveland, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away July 21, 2019 after a long illness. She was born September 10, 1961 to the late D. Frank Chambers, Sr., and her mother, Doris Chambers, of Cleveland.
Dee leaves behind her daughter, Savannah Cherry; sister, Darlene Chambers Owen; brother, Frank Chambers, Jr.; nephew Les Neuhaus III; great niece, Phoebe Neuhaus; best friend Paul Cherry; and many other relatives and friends.
She graduated from Cleveland HS and attended UTC. Her career in the food services industry included being a singing server at the Choo-Choo Station House; helping to open and manage Big River in both Chattanooga and Nashville; and being Assistant General Manager for The Cheesecake Factory in Boca Raton, Fla., which was the chain's #1 restaurant the last four years she worked there.
Dee was a gourmet cook, who loved preparing sumptuous meals for her friends and loved ones. Even in failing health the last few years, she found happiness in the kitchen.
