Dimple A. Cox, age 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 3, 2020 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Dimple was born on August 25, 1946 in Murray County, Georgia. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland for many years. She enjoyed traveling and supporting her grandchildren’s ballgames. She served her community at the Bradley Baptist Association for over 25 years.
Dimple is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, D.L. Cox; three wonderful children, son, Stacey (Angie) Cox, daughters, Tina (Eric) Weeks, and Kim (Scott) Hampton. She also leaves behind ten precious grandchildren, Tanner, Tucker, Emma, Logan, Alivia, Cooper, Knox, Maddox, Maverick, and Kody Hampton. The grandchildren were truly the joy of her life.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 7:00PM with the Reverends Randy Bonner, Jim Gibson, and Phil Taylor officiating.
