Diane Strong

Diane Strong, 62, of Cleveland, TN, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, surrounded by love. Diane's heart was as big as her spirit. She was a woman who lived with joy, a sense of fun, and an unwavering desire to make others feel special, loved, and included. Her warm, caring nature was felt by everyone who knew her. Diane had a remarkable gift for making people smile, whether it was through her delicious cooking, her beautiful garden, or simply sharing her time and love. She was a woman who took pride in looking her best, always putting thought into her hair, makeup, and stylish outfits - not just for herself, but to brighten the world around her. Above all, Diane was deeply devoted to her family. Her children were her pride and joy, and she loved being a mother and grandmother. She poured love into every role she played, always giving more than she received. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nada Pickel; her sisters, Donna Pickel and Lolly Reagan; and her brother, Kane Pickel. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, CJ Swallows (Billy), Emily Climer, and Kiara Strong; her cherished grandchildren, Taylor and Brayden Swallows, Mikenzi Stewart, Seraya Strong, and Preston Finlay. Diane is also survived by her loving siblings, Johnny Pickel, Randy Pickel, Jennifer Allen, Eric Pickel, and Francis Alamazan. Diane's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. She will be forever loved and deeply missed. A poetic tribute and farewell to Diane will unfold at the Graveside Service, where delicate flowers shall bloom at Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on November 30, 2024, at 4:15 pm. Prior to this, a Funeral Service of remembrance will take place at Companion Funeral Home "Ridge Chapel" on the same day at 3:00 pm. The Chapel shall open its doors for family and friends to pay their respects during the Visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
