Dewey Wendell Clayton

Dewey "Rod" Wendell Clayton, 81, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. He was born on August 14, 1940, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Dewey Monroe and Marie Minge Clayton.

Dewey leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Jean Nipper Clayton; son, Rodney (Kristy) Clayton; two daughters, Robyn (Larry) Smith, and Sherry Moore; two grandsons, Sayler Clayton, and Brian Moore; several great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland at 3:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service.

A Graveside Service will be held at Calhoun Community Cemetery in Calhoun, Tennessee at 4:00 pm.
