Dewey Guy Bivens, age 67, died unexpectedly of a massive coronary on Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Dayton, TN. Predeceased: loving daughter, Harley (2005), step-daughter, Monica (2012); brother, Brent Bivens (2012). Survived by: wife, Lynette; children/step-children, Mary and Tammy Bivens, Jami (Jason) Bennett, Cleveland; Johnny Bivens, Knoxville; Dulcie Jones, Savannah and Sierra Bivens, Langford, SD; brother, Joe Bivens, Big Bear, CA, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Guy was born and grew up in Cleveland, TN, graduated from Bradley Central High School, married Amy Campbell, and moved to Los Angeles, CA, where Guy worked testing SCUBA gear, as a Ferrier, at a Shipyard, and boxed Golden Glove. They returned to Cleveland with 3 adopted children, Mary, Johnny, and Tammy. Guy remarried, was blessed with daughter, Harley (Selena Elliott), twin girls, Savannah and Sierra and step-daughters, Dulcie Jones and Jami Bennett (Jason),(Lynette Jones). He worked at M&M Mars 26 years, retiring in 2005. Guy enjoyed working/helping at the Heritage Senior Living Home, Dayton, TN, enriching seniors lives with his care and slightly-embellished story-telling. Guy remained in Cleveland until his passing.Guy, member of Westwood Baptist Church and Sons of God Motorcycle Club (24 years), loved serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Guy loved his family and Sons of God MC brothers/sisters. An avid motorcyclist riding 50+ years, Guy most often used motorcycles to minister to others. Closest to his heart were riding and sharing the love of Christ at the Sturgis Rally and others, fundraising/MC runs for those in need, and attending Bill Glass Prison Ministries. Guy especially enjoyed and shared sketching, knife and gun-collecting with his children, and friend, Bryce Martin. A Celebration of Life to be announced.
