Blaze Montgomery

Blaze Montgomery, 23, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 15, 2023. Blaze was a son, grandson, brother, future husband, dedicated friend, and recent graduate of Bradley Central High School.

Those awaiting him in Heaven, his brother, Dalton Hudgins; grandfather, Jerry Montgomery; and father-in-law intended, Michael Hancock.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Jason and Valerie Montgomery; his fiancé, Michaela Hancock, brother, Eli Hancock; sisters, Anastazia Montgomery, and Abby Munk; grandparents, Ralph and Mary Hudgins, and Elizabeth Montgomery; his aunt, Stephanie Hamby; and uncles, James Montgomery, and Steven Montgomery.

Blaze was a young man who never hesitated to help and a defender of anyone in need. To say Blaze was talented is an understatement, as he was a singer, songwriter, drummer, and master guitar player.

He loved Rock and Roll so much. If you would like to set aside a suit or dress, we ask that you feel free to put on your favorite Rock and Roll shirt and join us in honoring his memory. The family only ask that we do this in a tasteful way.

The family assures that any gifts or memento that are donated will travel with Blaze.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 am at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland. A graveside service is to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ben Gates, Michael Spicer, Chris Green, Eli Hancock, Corbett Sands, and Zachary Sowder serving as pallbearers.
