Dennis Lamar Broome

Dennis Lamar Broome, 67, of Tunnel Hill, GA passed away on March 23, 2022 at his residence. Dennis was born on December 8, 1954 to the late Russell and Reba Broome. He is of the Baptist faith and attended Welcome Hill Baptist Church. Dennis enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, and loved the Lord, his church, and his family. He proudly served as a preacher, Sunday School teacher, and church superintendent for many years.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Broome.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Theda Broome; son, Daniel Broome (Nicole); daughter, Candace West; siblings, Sheila King (John) and Sherry Greene (Jeff); grandchildren, Tyler West, Will West, Mason West, Bethany West, Ezra Faz, and Jude Faz; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Services will be held at Welcome Hill Baptist Church at a later date.
