Dennis (Blue) Milo Dalola, 75, of Cinton, TN, passed away on May 7th, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Born March 1, 1950, in Webster, Pennsylvania, Dennis lived a significant, impactful and profound life defined by service, family, faith, and friendship.
A devoted Catholic, Dennis began his life of service as LCpl in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War (1968-1970). After returning home, he built a 30-plus-year career with Ford Motor Company as service technician and advisor, known for his honesty, reliability, and knowledge. He continued his lifelong dedication to helping others by volunteering with the Claxton Volunteer Fire Department and the Anderson County Rescue Squad as a K-9 Handler.
Dennis was a man of many passions. He adored his hound dogs, NASCAR, enjoyed fishing and cherished conversations with lifelong friends. He could often be found solving Penny Press crossword puzzles while listening to his favorite country music. Above all, Dennis found his greatest joy in spending time with family and caring for the love of his life, his wife, Cindy.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Cindy Elaine Dalola; his daughter, Gayle Wessner, her husband, Kevin, of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren Chris, Matt, and Zach (Ally) Hibben of Clinton, TN, and grandchildren Keilee and Easton Jones of Lenoir City, TN; five cherished great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a legacy of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Dalola; his sister, Delores Cieply; his brother, John F. Dalola Jr.; and his nephew, John F. Dalola III.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, 653 Briarcliff Ave, Oak Ridge, TN. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. A Catholic Mass will be held at a later date to honor Dennis's faith.
