Dennis Calvin Sipe

Obituary
Dennis Calvin Sipe, 66, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2013. Dennis was born on August 27, 1946 a son of the late Otis and Arietta Sipe. Dennis was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in which he was very involved and active. Dennis worked since the age of sixteen until his retirement as a brick and block mason locally. He was an avid HAM radio operator, antique car enthusiast, and horseman, but will be most remembered for being a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by an infant sister Elaine Sipe.
Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 21 years Debra Hafley Sipe, one daughter Kimberly Denise Sipe, one son and daughter-in-law Tony Lorne & Jaime Sipe, two step sons Tony Jones and Tim Jones, one sister Faye Thomas-Morris, one brother Larry Sipe, Eleven grandchildren, one great granddaughter who was the “apple of his eye”, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church located at 3119 Spring Place Road in Cleveland TN with Pastor Rusty Langford, the Reverend Jim Hensley, and the Reverend Steve Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with Nick Sipe, Tony Jones, Tim Jones, Eric Hall, Jerry Arms, and Johnny Sosebee serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service at Macedonia Baptist Church.
