Obituary
Demetrius Michael Stavrianos, 68, of Cleveland TN passes away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his residence. Demetrius was born on November 8, 1943 Addis Ababa Ethiopia a son of the late George and Angela Stravrianos. Demetrius moved to the United State from Germany approximately 32 years ago. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith. Demetrius worked for Cedar Creek Trucking in Dalton, GA and locally at the Gondolier Restaurant for several years. He will be most remember for being a loving and caring husband and a friends to all those he came in contact with.
He is survived by his loving wife Ozella, three sons still in Germany George, Billy, and Henry, six grandchildren, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday night, August 24, 2012 at 6:30 PM at the Stuart Park Baptist Church located at 850 17th Street NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with the Reverend Marvin Howard and the Reverend Daniel Malone officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM until the 6:30 PM.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga in Demetrius’s memory.
