Delores Trewhitt Howard

Delores Trewhitt Howard, 81, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away November 7, 2021, at a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Waterville Baptist Church and retired from Bradley County Trustee’s Office. Delores enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, was an avid reader, and going shopping. She was much loved and deeply cherished and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. & Hazel K. Trewhitt; husband, George H. Howard of 51 years; son-in-law, Karl Steward.

She is survived by her daughter, Robbie Steward; son, Steven Howard and wife Kathy; sibling, Nancy Humbard and brother-in-law, Arnold Humbard; grandchildren, Brock Steward, Brent Steward and wife Lauren; great-grandchildren, Brady Steward, McKaylee Steward, and Karleigh Jo Steward; special companion, Ronnie Martin; dog, Sassy; special friends, Faye Swilling and Doris Stonecipher; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, at Companion Funeral Home and ask for those attending to use COVID precautions. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
