Dekota "Bubba" Eugene Grant

Dekota”Bubba” Eugene Grant, age 28 , a lifelong resident of Cleveland; passed away at his home May 25, 2021. Dekota was born to his loving parents, Robert and Lori Grant.
He is preceded in death by his nana Marsha “Darlene” Brewer; Aunt Kristie Casson Davis; papaw, Mikey Weir; grandfather, Jerry Castelow; and father-in-law, Monte Simpson.
Survivors include Dekota’s soulmate and wife of eleven years, Lydia Grant; 3 beautiful children, Cameal BethAnn, Carter Eugene, and X’Zavier Robert; a nephew whom he thought of as a son, Whaylon Tyler Looper; paretns, Robert Grant and Lori Grant Castelow; sisters, Olivia Grand, Amie Grant, and Macala Ledbetter; brothers, Dustin Davis and Micheal “Miki” Davis; brothers-in –law, Tyler Looper, Vincent Wooden, Steven Yow, and Brandon Early; Mother-in-law. Melissa Coleman McCullough and “Nanaw” Mildred”Millie Coleman; longtime friend Connie Hall; grandparents, Glenda and Gayle Durham and Stanley Crittenden; aunt Candace Higdon, and Gracie Higdon as well as several very much loved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Dekota “ Bubba” Eugene Grant will be held at 3p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cookson Creek Cemetery with Dustan Weir, Dustin Davis, Vincent Wooden, Steven Yow, Brandon Earley, Tyler Looper, Marty Blankeship, and Lee Millsap serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the funeral home.
