Debra Rena' Banther

Obituary
 
Debra Rená Banther, 33, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 4, 2012 in a Nashville hospital.  She was the daughter of  Rev. Jerry and Debbie Walden.  Rená has been a resident of Cleveland her entire life.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church.  Rená had recently been attending Ocoee Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN.  Rená was known for her loving and kind spirit accompanied by a servant's heart.  She spent much of her time volunteering at her churches and spending time with her children.  Of all the things Rená will be remembered for, she will be forever known as a loving wife and caring mother.
Rená leaves many family members behind to cherish her memory.  In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her husband, Daryl.  Rená is also survived by her two children whom she cared for dearly: Dakota (8) and Abigale (9).  She is also survived by a father-in-law, Ronnie Banther (Diane) and mother-in-law, Janice Pruitt (Bobby).  Rená leaved behind two brothers: Jason Houk (Keisha) and Phillip Hamilton (Sarah) and also several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Philippi Baptist Church located at 2325 Old Harrison Pike NW Cleveland, TN 37311 on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm.  The funeral service will be held at Philippi on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 3:00pm with Dr. Sammy Hooker and Rev. Gary Moats officiating.  The family will also receive friends for two hours prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00-3:00pm.  Rená's close friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
