Deborah Wadsworth

Deborah "Debbie" Wadsworth, 66, of Chattanooga, TN, sadly left us on April 28, 2024, at home in Chattanooga, TN, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Deborah was born November 24, 1957, and raised in Chattanooga, TN, and of the Baptist faith. She moved to Vero Beach, Florida from 1986-2010 before moving back to Chattanooga, TN.

Deborah retired in 2020 from Southern Filter Media. She loved camping, blue grass festivals, sewing, traveling, and loved her family. She was a wonderful mother, fur grandma, sister, aunt, and cousin. Deborah loved cats and had several throughout her life.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Albert King and Joyce Dean Tankersley King; grandparents, Carl Tankersley & Clara Nell Tankersley, Martin Albert King & Lola Bea King; brother, Charles Stephen King.

Survived by her only child, daughter, Tracy Lynn Barrett, of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Michael (Tammy) King, of Chattanooga TN, Douglas Richard (Sharon) King, of Vero Beach, Florida, and Timothy Gordon; sister-in-law, Debbie King; of Aiken SC; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Deborah requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to a traditional funeral service. We request all of Deborah's loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at a later date.
