Deborah Fugate

Deborah Fugate, 74, of Lakesite, TN died at home on December 29, 2023.

She was born in Chattanooga in 1949 to Sam and Effie Chauncey. She worked at DuPont and later retired from Lifetouch.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Effie Chauncey; brothers, Berto Chauncey, Claude Chauncey, Grant Chauncey and Sam Chauncey; sisters, Evelyn Chauncey, Reba Bash and Joy Runions; husband, Stanley Fugate.

She is survived by Michael (Krista) Fugate, Mickey (Brooke) Fugate, Christie Morris and Rhonda Fugate.

Deborah's favorite roll was that of a grandmother. Grandchildren; Lexi Fugate, Kate Fugate, Mia Fugate, Milo Fugate, Seth (Geordan) Brown, Chase (Chas) Brown, Drake (Kaitlyn) Brown and Corey Fugate. Great Grandchildren; Saylor Brown, Blaise Brown, Ricki Brown, Reese Brown, Tinsley Brown and Tucker Brown.

A Memorial service will be held January 13, 2024, at Hixson Presbyterian Church. Visitors will be received at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM.
