Deborah Beshears, 73, passed away on 4/15/2022. She was born on 12/26/1948.
She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. She loved being able to go to her grandkids activities, whether it was band, color guard, baseball, dance, orchestra concerts and the like, she wouldn't miss anything if she could help it. She had a love of all things Bonanza and frequently went on group trips related to the show. She made numerous friends through this group and wrote many, many stories that are still enjoyed online by these friends. Her other hobbies included crocheting, cross-stitching, and reading. She loved to travel and see and take in all the sights that she could. She was a long time employee at Prospect Elementary School.
She is preceded in death by her son, Hugh Lee Beshears, Jr.; her parents, Ernest Lee and Irene Shabbott Bryant; her brother, William Gregg Bryant and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Thorne of Texas, Nicole Kinyon, Natalie Goleman and husband Terry, and Shawn Beshears, all of Cleveland. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lucas Thorne, Sarah Thorne, Paul Thorne and Peyton Thorne, all of Texas; Dakota Garriott; Victoria Garriott and fiance Blaine Baker; Emalie Goleman; Joseph Goleman and special friends Ramona Trew and Dianne Fair; and one great-grand daughter, Lila-Mae Baker, all of Cleveland. She also leaves behind her beloved pets.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held at 4pm on Sunday April 24th at Companion Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service from 1pm to 4pm. She will be laid to rest following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
