Debbie Mccann

Debbie McCann age 63, of Calhoun, departed this life on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her residence. Born on May 28, 1958 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Walter and Barbara Hendrix, she lived a majority of her life in Bradley County and played basketball for Coach Jim Smiddy’s Bearettes at Bradley Central High School. She was employed at Bradley Memorial Hospital and was a traveling nurse for several years as well as spending time as a home health nurse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hendrix; and mother and father-in-law, Ann and Arthur McCann.
Left behind to cherish Debbie’s memory are her daughters, Krisha and Keri McCann; grandson, Ben McCann; sister, Susan Bishop; former spouse, Alan McCann; nephews, Christopher and Jeremy Bishop;as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A memorial gathering of friends to celebrate the life of Deborah Jane White McCann will be held from 4-6p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland.
