Debbie Kay Hamilton

Debbie Kay Hamilton 58, of Old Fort, TN passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her residence. Debbie spent most of her life in Columbus County, North Carolina, and has always considered it home. She was a devout Christian, and a member of Whiteville Church of God. Debbie enjoyed traveling, going to church, and laughing with friends. She loved spending time with her family, and adored her grandchildren. She was a true example of how to love, and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She lived a life in such a way she can confidently say "I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7) Debbie is proceeded in death by her parents, Carl S Ward, Darcus Kathleen Ward, and brother, Dan Ward.Left to cherish her memory, husband of 34 years, Frank Hamilton; son Chris Lundy; daughters, Barbie Duggan, Kayla Talley; her sister, Judy Ward Watts; brother, Joey Ward. Debbie is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Phillip, Haleigh, Benjamin, Collin York, Leah, Abbey, Shelby Talley, Aidan Lundy, Malia Breckenridge, and Jamie Duggan. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 Pm Friday, February 12, 2016 at Hayesville Church of God. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 prior to the service. Hayesville Church of God is located 72 Fort Hembree Rd, Hayesville, NC 28904.
